Camp Weeks

Week 1: July 8-12, Week 2: July 15-19, Week 3: July 22-26

 

Welcome to Sounds of Summer, an Instrumental Music Camp providing musicians with an exhilarating chance to kickstart lessons or refine their musical skills before the new school year begins. Participants will engage in group lessons, mixed ensemble sessions, and workshops on music theory and jazz improvisation, all led by our esteemed band instructors. Tailored for players of all levels—be it beginners, intermediates, or advanced musicians—this program ensures growth and enrichment for every participant, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of instrumental music. Join fellow musicians and become part of “the band”!

Parents: Please send a water bottle and snack each day with your camper. Campers must bring their own (or rented) instrument to camp each day.

Important Notes: Campers may attend one, two, or three half-day weeks of Instrumental Music Camp (3 Wks is the Best Value) Beginners at all grade levels must attend Week 1 as a Prerequisite to Weeks 2 and 3.

Monday through Friday - Half-Day Sessions (2.5 hrs each day)

Musicians Entering 4th and 5th Grade: AM Session 9:00 – 11:30 am

Musicians Entering 6th Grade and Up: PM Session 12:00 – 2:30 pm

A Showcase Performance by AM and PM musicians will be held for family and friends on

Friday, July 26th at 11:00 am
