The Wayne Education Foundation was Co-Founded by

Laura Stinziano and Robyn Kingston with Eileen Albanese as Treasurer and Kim Essen as Secretary

2014

New Board Members were Appointed

Dr. Toback was Appointed as Ex-Officio

Karen Marron was Appointed as Secretary

2016

A New WEF Board was Established

Karen Marron as President

Hilary Caruso as Vice President

Renee Rosenberg as Treasurer

Alicia Heller and Alexis Rewick as Chairs

2018

Deborah Unger was Hired as Camp Director

Amy Gharibian was Appointed as Treasurer

2013 Camp Season 1

$25,000 to support the

High School band, music, and art programs

2014 Camp Season 2

$20,000 to upgrade both High Schools' culinary classrooms

2015 Camp Season 3

$30,000 to hold over for the following year

to impact the STEM programs

2016 Camp Season 4

$45,000 combined with 2015 funds

$70,000 to purchase STEM technology to enhance both

High School science programs.

The remaining $5,000 benefited the

High School music programs.

2017 Camp Season 5

$40,000 Total Donations

$10,000 – High School Robotics Programs ($5,000 each)

$1,000 – High School Vocal Music Programs ($500 each)

$11,000 – High School Transition Skills to support the Life Skills Room at WVHS and the School Store at WHHS ($5,500 each)

$9,000 – Elementary P.E. and Elementary Music Programs ($4,500 for each program)

$9,000 – Middle Schools ($3,000 for each school)

$25,000 – Expanded Elem Robotics Program (Beginner/Intermediate – 4th/5th – Fall/Spring)

$5,200 – HS College Admission Presentation

(For Seniors at both HS and a Parent Session)

$5,000 – Preakness School Pre-K Playground Equipment

$4,800 – Middle Schools (STEM related program)
