Welcome to Microscopic Mania, an exciting Saturday Academy where students dive into the unseen world around us, using microscopy technology! This hands-on program transforms ordinary objects into extraordinary discoveries through the power of magnification using compound light microscopes and stereoscopic microscopes.

Students create a digital portfolio of their best microscopic images, write scientific descriptions, and present their findings. Students will share a reflection of their favorite digital or hand drawn image on a group Padlet to share with families in the Wayne Community. The culminating portfolio activity develops communication skills and scientific literacy.

Spots are limited to 20 students per session.

Select TWO sessions, one for Session A and a DIFFERENT one for Session B for the 5-Week Saturday Program.
I hereby grant the Wayne Education Foundation (WEF) and the Wayne Township Public Schools (WTPS) permission to photograph and/or video my child during the Saturday Academy program. I understand that these images may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the WEF and/or the WTPS’s website, social media, and printed materials.

If I DO NOT want my child to be photographed, I will email the Wayne Education Foundation at WayneEducationFoundation@gmail.com at least 1 day before the Saturday Academy takes place.
