This gold star program is designed to encourage and empower young girls who are interested in exploring the exciting world of coding. Whether new to coding or familiar with the basics, participants will create animated stories and interactive projects while learning essential programming concepts using Scratch. In this engaging, drag-and-drop environment, campers use sprites and code blocks to build a strong foundation in computational thinking—an important skill in today’s technology-driven world. Throughout the week, students will discover the creative possibilities of coding and gain confidence as problem-solvers. By the end of the program, campers will be able to design and build their own simple games.
