Our Jr Music Explorers camp is the perfect opportunity for rising 2nd and 3rd graders to begin their musical journey in a fun, supportive setting. During this one-week, half-day camp, students will get hands-on experience with band instruments such as drums, brass, woodwinds, and more. Led by Wayne Valley’s Director of Bands and mentorship from high school band volunteers, campers will learn the basics of instrument care, simple notes, and musical patterns. Interactive activities, including rhythm games, ensemble play, and creative music challenges will nurture both individual skills and teamwork. Campers will also tour the band room, theater space, and tech areas to deepen their understanding of the performing arts.
